The music has become broken pieces under Ivo's "sheer muscularity and "shimmering delicacy". Where is the focus? Where is the integrity?

I think this is my favorite interpretation, though of course each pianist brings a unique emotional and techinical perspective to the piece. But the sheer muscularity of this really brings out the character of the piece, I think ... the threatening insistence of those descending parallel octaves and huge chords, without sacrificing any of the shimmering delicacy in the meno mosso.

Interesting interpretation with both staccato and dynamics. Pogo never fails to astound me with both his stamina and control, especially with the tempo he attacked this monster with.
