I believe that the situation must be really evaluated before the Taser should be employed.All people react differently. It should be used when there is no other option, and the officer should have real experience before defaulting to the taser use. It's a hard call. I wouldn't want to make that decision. Food for thought

Not necessarily. It'd take away the pain from the muscle spasms, but his muscles would still contract like a bitch. You'd just not want to stop using the taser on him, because when you did, THEN he'd rip your face off.

ok so i actually did what u said...i looked it up...i clicked on the first article that came up..and if you actually READ WHAT THE ARTICLE SAYS, it sayd the death COULD have been because of the taser AND THE FACT THAT ONE OF HIS ARTERIES WAS UNUSUALLY SMALL..like i said before SOME OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE...also like i said before..don't do something dumb enough to get tasered and you won't have to worry about it.

tasers dont kill...a death has never been caused by a taser, it has some other circumstance...here's an idea..don't do sumthing dumb enough to get tased and you won't have to worry about it

You're probably some volunteer firefighter that has a grudge. Taser's save lives, moron. We don't have the time to wait for those that are "slow to respond." Get your facts straight and run back to your firehouse for a nap.
