2007 Nissan Nismo 350Z by Edmunds' Inside Line
For Edmunds' Inside Line article: http://www.edmunds.com/insidel... years since its rebirth, the Nissan 350Z remains one of the world's great performance bargains. But it isn't pretty. It isn't subtle. And it doesn't care whether you think the cabin is stylish or not. This is all part of the hard-core image Nissan has built for the Z. And rather than back away from it as the end of the Z-car's model cycle nears, Nissan is pushing this car's character right to the edge of reason.

when talking about performance, almost every1 knows that we'll have to sacrifice the comfort.aren't we talking about performance here? where does this front-wheel drive mazda come into play?i personally wouldn't even think about front-wheel drive when it comes to performance vehicles....

nobody considering a Z is interested in the plain-jane mazda3.

my cousin just picked up number 720 and let me tell you this car rips! alot of people make comments about the new aero package, its a bit odd at first but its there to serve a purpose and is functional. very nice cars

I Disagree I Think it looks sick as fuck and much nicer with the rear spoiler and carbon fiber and a 350Z it a tuner just like any other foreign car

mazdaspeed 3= $22k, sits 4 comfortably and definitely fun to drive, 5.4 0-60 and better top end than a 350z, ms3 ftw!

its not only the front lip, the whole car looks much sharp (as if you compare the front of the car), you get 20 boost of hp. i know its not a lot but its still something but afterall, it is overpriced. but its 10g extra, you can get one for 2-3g over the base z if you know how to shop

The Nismo vs C6 on a skidpad would definitly be a good match. A C6 Z06 reaches .99G, but I'm not sure what the regular C6 gets. It can't be that far behind though. I don't see much point in the Nismo Z. I'm sure it handles extremely well, but the suspension is probably way too stiff for the street. Why build a car that surpasses the regular Z's limits when you can't even reach the standard Z's limits on a public road anyway?

Not just a body kit but one that will actually be functional. Also you get a seam welded chassis and higher revving engine. Not too many people can actually pull off these enhancements by themselves. This car may not beat the Vette in the straight line but it sounds like it could probably out corner it at the track.

RX8 is cool, but its quite a bit slower than the Z. The back seat is nice though.
