Dylan was and still is a fantastic singer. Try to drop your modern addiction to Mariah Kerry, Enrique Iglesias and the Blonde Suicide, few singers have been able to get it as right Dylan. There is sarcasm, there is longing, the power and the artful delivery present in his voice is unbelievable. Just 'cause he doesn't sound like accepted western angels it doesn't mean he's not the real deal. Good bloody luck shoving anywhere near as much feeling into your lyrics as bob managed.

yeh man, cause thats one of the things dylan is well known for, is his lyrics and thats why the crowd is quiet when he plays live, cause they listen to his lyrics

he's a better singer than songwriter - esoteric fans love him because of his singing - he can sound so good when others who are good (textbook) sound so boring

dont put down drunken singing. watch: watch?v=-mMRMDogu2c . it is an old irish man, singing for himself, and his friends, and the camera only incidental. this old man is singing from the heart, and was born in a time, in a place where music was not a product, but a way of life, and the only means of entertainment these people had.bob dylan's singing does great respect to people like this. it is full of such honesty, genuineness, and profound musicality, far transcendent of perfection.

louismom007 actually is singing is pretty good. What I mean is he has enormous control over his voice and rarely misses a note.
