Cates one of the best actressed today, I think she was the best out of all the Bob Dylans. Shes brilliant.

I think he's talking about the physical side of it, Dylan was skinny and scrawny in those years and Blanchett didn't have to do a lot to look skinny and scrawny.

i know! I noticed that before the film was released, from the promotional stills. the it's odd. with the uncanny resemblance & spot-on mannerisms & even the perfect tone to her voice, she WAS dylan.

well if my highschool drama teacher could be considered an expert...(ha)... he said that in theatre there are only "actors" and the term actresses was made up when they began glamourizing hollywood... but that might not be true.
