No it won't break the sounds barrier... we cruise between .77-.81 Mach (% speed of sound). Our high bypass turbofans were not designed for supersonic speeds! Sorry to burst your bubble.

Not trying to be a smartass but doesn't it have to be able to break the sound barrier to be technically classified as a learjet? Or is it just cause it has jet engines? 450 knots seems kinda slow for a learjet too!
