You're welcome! Buy ticket in automat (button for English) at train station prior to departure. You can also buy ticket over the counter or onboard train but with a 2 euro ($3) surcharge. Ticket is valid on all public transportation within Bavaria (except high-speed trains), 2nd-class seating Mon-Fri from 9am till 3am & Sat-Sun from midnight till 3am next morning. Thus, if you return to Munich on the same day, you need just the one ticket. Same details apply for Bohmen ticket. Have fun!

So i am going to Salzburg now. Thanks for the info. Can i ask one last question?..Where do you buy these Bayern ticket and Bayern-Bohmen ticket? Do i have to order it online before i get there or buy from local stations? And I will need to buy several of them ? right? Example.. one Bayern ticket to get to Salzburg and one to Salzburg to munich? Or there is a weekly pass? Thanks so much for all your videos and info. Now i really wanna see Salzburg :)
