PoS May have a better singer than DT but Liquid Tension Experiment beats all because they dont have a singer. DTs band members are also much more talented. Jordan Rudess is god.

you just spread the influences so thin, you don't need the term "with a splash of" cause every band you mentioned would just get a splash of influence in the lake that is this band.

As far as James LaBrie's voice goes, he's fucking amazing on albums like Images & Words and Scenes From A Memory, but absolutely horrible on stuff like Systematic Chaos.Daniel Gildenlow, however, sounds amazing on every song on every album Pain of Salvation has ever done.
