I believe he must have been a big influence for many trumpet players.I can here Chet certainly was influenced.Beautifull I didn,t know this trumpet player before, thanks for the post !

Thanks for the tip. I will check it out! Late 50's-Early 60's jazz is great. Basically, until the arrival of multi-track recorders and electric instruments, which changed the sound of jazz.Incidentally, I think that Miles was an outstanding composer and band leader, but as a trumpet player, he would not be amongst the greatest.Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this. What a warm and soothing sound!The only tracks I had heard before were with him backing Bird, and Bird tends to make everyone else sound, um, like students... But this is really fine music!
