I would love to know what MALCOM X would have had to say about this if he was still alive.

While I agree with 99% of this about women being exploited. Damnit, I am GLAD that SOMEONE made girls with beautiful bodies BEAUTIFUL! It nice to see my big butt coveted rather than "OMG FAT!" When I was thin, that's how I was built, and I was still FAT. If I had been given these images when I was younger I would have had a better image of my body.BUT I do agree that women (ALL WOMEN) need goals other than being a video girl. Although I do like Nelly's Video Vixen. <3

Sorry to say, but this is a waste of time for these "College Proffessors" etc who want to chime in on the Hip Hop/Rap Community. Hip HOp and Rap have been nothing but Entertainment. Same as Fake ass wrestling, same as anything media show. Elitism always has to shine it's fucking head...and it's sad...

Ugh and i hate how niggers act. Thats right i said niggers cuz theres a difference. Niggers are stupid ignorant people where as black people are rationalized humans. Niggers dont care about personal goals in life and rap about dumb shit. Black people are people who want to be recognized as a great citizen in society and do what they can not to be stereotyped by the color of their skin. Black people rap about making a stand, being no different from any other race and show true respect to women.

And the whole topic about women being degraded, us women let it happen. You wanna know why guys arent gentlemen anymore? Cuz u let em call you a bitch, slut and a hoe just so you can shake that ass for some dollas. You wanna be degraded? Go ahead, shake them tits and that booty and let men wipe their ass with us and throw us away.

Hip Hop all together really is fuckin shit.I remember when yesterdays hip hop and im just talking about 6 yrs really, was all about making a statement, being unique, the great flow to dance to and now it just sounds so stupid. I dont give a fuck if you got a dougie for a haircut, if your the boss, i dont wanna watch your fucking shoes and i sure as fuck dont wanna hear you bragging about how you made a million dollars by rapping about growing up around crackheads.

but when wayne or someone does it it sucks not, they aint real cuz they got money. Rappers today are WAY more rich then rappers of yesterday. id rather the message of sex n money then murdering n crack anyday for my future children. now im not saying anything bad about hip hop back in the day but its always been there. i do not get this whole hip hop is dead movement, its stupid. hip hop is thriving just more money involved in it.
ZooYork87123 (August 26, 2008 at 11:39 pm)
I dont like when people say that. YOU think hip hop n rap isnt good today. there has always been sex money n drugs involved in hip hop. maybe not as much but it was there. Biggie for example (love Biggie dont get it twisted) but he has rapped about drugs women n money quite alot, but when say wayne or T.I. does it, it sucks. he told people hot to rob, told people how to be a good crack dealer, how to move in silence n kill someone, ect. and hes considered on the greatest to ever do it

i dont look at black women diffrently, and im white 50-50 irish italian. i see these videos, why arent i objectifying black women? (sry for spelling) oh wait, i went to school, i have sisters, i have a mother, i have female friends, ive had girlfriends, point is EDUACATION, i learned to see them as people. its person to person all these topics seperating white black asian blah blah blah, is actually seperating them more. people need to accept others for what they are. no one should be diff.
