"From Where You Are," written and performed by Jason Wade, a member of a band named Lifehouse. Mr. Wade was inspired to write the song by the death of a 16-year-old friend in an auto accident.The commercial dramatizes the issue by showing a highway crowded with cars Â- filled with teenage passengers -Â that suddenly disappear. "Every year, nearly 6,000 teenagers go for a drive and never come back," says the actor Dennis Haysbert, the Allstate spokesman. This song just makes me sit and think about my boyfriend who left 2 weeks ago for Nation Guard, he is to be gone for 2 years....miss him dearly and would give up everything just to see him one more time..

this song reminds me of my EX-boyfriend....had to leave him, he gave me no choice....all he ever did was yell at me and dich me and such things, so had to leave untill he totally broke me into pieces, breaks my heart for leaving him but had to and still love him,wish he couldv'e changed...he didn't even try to stop me which breaks my heart even more...*tears in eyes*

most people think of this song bc of people they have lost in their life. well i think of it bc of someone i have never met in my life, and thats my dad. i wish he was here. i just want to know where i came from! ive gone 16 years and i think its time. anyone agree? i know ur out there somewhere dad. I think the people are thought of more when they're dead so sudden it is when someone dies yet before they normally mean nothing.Then thats when someone realises how much their friend or family means when they're gone.
