Whether you associate this music with god, your beliefs, or not with anything. Whether you love the classical beauty, the serenity or the dance versions of late, please just appreciate the music and the amazing skill, talent, thought and feeling that Samuel Barber put into this. Whether by devine intervention or just the man himself, stop and appreciate that this is amazing and beautiful music that stirs the souls of so many millions and is a beautiful part of life that should be appreciated.

i will not start to discus if od exist but i must say just the thought that he is out there is reanshuring. and this musik is truly the example of that. it is marvelous. man without the faith cannot make such a musik purely on knowlege of that we are alone and nothing more. i think belive should countinue to make people do things that they normaly will not do. that is the point of religion. to belive, to become better, to find peace of mind. well for me it is and i just feel purety from this!!!!

To people of Abrahamic religions: All quibbling aside, I believe it is time for faith-based religions to take a step back and really think about their choices. Faith is the belief without evidence, and Christians failure has been that they have humanized/personified God in almost every way. If anything humanity would have been created for the universe, not the universe created for humanity. We are not the iconic centerpiece to the Universe and people should not delude themselves any longer.

Are you saying that Samuel Barber could not have writen this with the existence of God?Please give this man credit to what he has created alone.

God will not "bring the apocalypse" because he doesn't exist. However, the religious fundimentalist thinking of people like you will. So fuck off with your hateful bullshit and let us all live our lives in peace.Please.
