they still apply. readyboost doesn't make that much of a difference on systems with more than 2gb anyway

So is there no Limit to how much RAM i can add? I know that I can only add up to 4GB Physical RAM (2x2gb DDR2) Since my laptop is only 32bit. Will I be able to buy a 12gb SD Card and Jack it up big time? or Do the same limitations to Physical Ram apply?

yes, you get another 2gb! i have 4gigs of ram already and i bought a 8gb flash drive and the result is 12gigs of ram!!! :D
