This is a pretty accurate matching. Shakespeare's Henry V's war on the French was an illegal and unjustified war based on lies and false premise; a diversionary tactic to lend credibility to his rule in the middle of a civil war and it allowed him to show his compatriots he wasn't just a partying drunk kid. He also needed to psychologically motivate troops who were unsure why they were there and what they were fighting for.Sounds pretty familiar, just without the cocaine!

On further research, the name of the track is "Returns a King" from the 300 Soundtrack. It was similar enough to "Victorious Titus" to give rise to some copyright concerns.

Not to interrupt the lame bickering, but the song sounds an awful lot like the track "Victorious Titus" from the soundtrack of the movie "Titus." This version sounds redone, it's a bit different than the one performed in the film. You can get the movie track on Amazon MP3.

No, it's not anything from Carmina Burana, but I would like to know what it is.

You should all have a look at the Lawrence Olivier version of the film and of the speech. In my opinion it is far better. It was made in 1944, on the eve of D-Day, and was dedicated to all who participated in Operation Overlord.

get off your high horse Talbot.Look beyond the colors pinned to their shoulders. These young men fighting and crying and dying are no diffrent than your english soldiers. They are allies in combat and die together- for that they are brothers. I have an English friend who served and would smack you in the mouth for saying that.Americans and the English die together, and have died together. There are Englishmen fighting now who wouldnt be so happy calling us blood foreigners.look deeper.

Yeah, we call them rednecks. i do, however understand their frustration. See, before your current president, there was a lot of shit talking about America coming from the French (especially by that last pansy you had in office; i don't know how to spell his name and he is not worth the time it would take to look it up) Anyway, i don't blame them for being tired of anti-american french whining. Not saying that is you, by the way.
