i understand what many are saying about Glass' version being "better" but I have to say that I love this version. I love the rise and fall of the dynamics.

I saw Philip Glass play this at Guild Hall in East Hampton New York... Talk about mouth dropping... This is a fine performance, but as always amazing to see the composer up close. Thanks for the music!

I completely disagree... Is not about the perfection of the performance... But the message of the composer... his soul, his inner feelings. His statement. I like this performance very much, but it lacks of the implicit chaos and vertigo that comes with every Glass piano piece...

Very impressive: I love the playing of this music by Branca. She has a way of catching and amplifying the emotion even more than Glass himself! Metamorphosis 1 is also impressive.Wonderful music that makes me happy.
