I believe this was the piece he played more then any other in concert; wouldn't think so from the way he makes it so special. Richter was a glorious pianist.

The best Rachmaninoff ever is that, played by Richter. Nobody understand better this music by Richter himself.Richter WAS the greatest pianist ever lived on this earth.

hehehehe---->huhhhh!!...but i must say that richters personality and the titanic way playing the most difficult works as it was so easy indeed an enigma,an i was shaken[sic!]by the soundwaves on every concert i visited.his debussy, liszt, prokofieff and even brahms is exemplary. ;)

Completely true mziel.Well, just (not to convince you in any way) to complete my idea:I wouldn´t reccomend nobody now to go to learn a good Chopin in Polonia. But at least in Varsavia and Crackovia conservatories, you can finde sometimes some good teachers.BUt i never would reccomend nobody to go to learn piano in Germany , becuase not only they play the worst Bach on earth, but the german pianistic school is not really good, and specially is based in play as boring as possible. 666

Ok, we have really nothing to talk about. But realize, that many of "yundis" were studying in Poland. You can disagree with me, I understand that. Saying, that Polish are the worst playing of Chopin is... argh, you see only yourself, my talking to you is pointless.

------->Polish (specially in these days) are too much pretentious concerning the "Know how" of Chopin. The first example: The lasts winners of Chopin competitions are not a Polish, AND WORST the winners are a kind of pretty shit pianists. Take Yundi Li as an example. SO WHERE ARE THE POLISH ESPECIALISTS?.HAHA HAHA LOL. Is teh same who happen with BAch interpretation. Are not worst Bach players than the Germans in thses days.------------>

Sorry, but if you do not find anything in music of Paderewski - we have nothing to talk about. Chopin - French? That is misunderstanding of his music. Every note was support by polish folk music. But I understand you - only polish man could grasp this truth.
