noone can do it better than roger, celtic if u listen to them both the who is way better, pearl jam is great but in my opinion noone compares to the except for maybe led zeppelin

Pearl Jam... they love music obviously. I always see people judging the covers they decide to play. In playing the song(very well for that matter) someone WHO knows nothing of the WHO may now discover the band. You see, one thing Pearl Jam has done throughout their career is made their fans...fans of others. Not to mention this was the first place the song was played live(very cool). The WHO also was a big influence of a lot of todays rock.I must say Pearl Jam is a class act pure energy

You guy just don't get it.....It's NOT a competition. ED and PJ are HONOURING The Who....not trying to better it. I personally think they nailed it like very few IF ANYONE ELSE could.

Agreed. No one can match The Who. You'd think that bands would know by now not to mess with perfection. And how about that wanker Fred Durst trying to cover Behind Blue Eyes? What rubbish! American bands should stop trying to be The Who and come up with their own hits!
