BBLR in January 07
A bright winter day is a good excuse for a steam up on a garden railway. We also ran a twenty year old stomper conversion and tested a new Tesco Brio compatible engine fitted with O gauge wheels.

That brio engine will make a great little diesel! Have to disconnect the sound unit though!!!! :-)

Wheels are 21mm diameter from Cambrian models. I made new axles from 2mm diameter steel rod.

The red loco was built by my eldest daughter many years ago. The chassis is a stomper four wheel drive toy car with railway wheels replaing the road wheels. The bodywork is odd bits of plastic sheet and tube.
