Senator Hagel is a class act, just like Obama. If Obama wins, I suspect we'll see Hagel in a cabinet position. Sec. of Defense or Sec. of State would be good.

hagel is one hell of a social conservative just like bush on social matters,hes still a conservative and no way a moderate as some people think he is,hes maverick but hes no moderate,if obama had of chosen this guy he would of PISSED OFF A LOT OF DEMOCRATS AND LIBERALS ALIKE,but chuck hagel is at least an honest republican

Well, that's not true about never having a successful mission. He flew 23 raids before he was actually shot down in Vietnam. Not that I support the guy, but I don't want him lied on any more than I want Obama lied on.

concervatives are usually against wars of any kind or nation-building...like ron paul (a true concervative)...neo-cons (like john mcmoron, george bush, and fox news)...are war first diplomacy-never type of hacks. true concervatives and liberals tend to oppose wars and policing the world
