seems like they come in different quality regarding their flipper function.I do have one that works really well, yet I heard about the same experience you had from another user in my areaHave a nice day!

Well thanks but I've already owned one. The first G10 leek I bought (had polished G10 handles) came with the blade way off center and the liner lock wouldn't engage. I sent it back and they sent me a new one which i liked. I didn't care for the polished G10, and would much rather have the gritty G10 one they still offer (I think they still offer it).

you should get a kershaw leek with the g10 grips. as you probably know, they are opening assisted but it will solve all of thoes other problems.

Perhaps this knife will be one of those that grow on you. Being my first flipper I'm already looking for another.

He sounded pretty damn impartial to me. He gave it a good review. He likes the knife, he just has a few constructive critiques. If you can't get past that, then I am left to assume you are at most 13 years old. ALL of my Kershaws flip completely open with a satisfying click, this one is the first I have seen that does not. I can see that as a problem and should not have to view a "tutorial" on how to.

i enjoyed the review man, your oppinion on the knife seemed very honest and the bad points you pointed out seemed very logical to me, the knife obviously dosent open smoothly enough which would bug me aswell, if you cant open the thing using the thumb studs without fear of cutting your own fingers off its not a practical knife, and that single liner thing? well what the hell is that lol..

I heard about the flak you got, on blade forums...everyones entitled to their opinions.

seems like an honest review. if people have a problem with it, they should do their own review. i agree with just about everything you said. the liner thing is alright though. the thumbstud should only touch the liner, it'll wear through the g10 quickly. some strider's use the same lock stop. check out the boker CLB designs, great stuff for the same price.a little wrist action wouldn't hurt. ;)
