dis is quit nice i ill get the higer end model.. i hav ps3 60gb but i want blu ray players alone

The PS3 uses a lot more power and generates more heat than a stand alone player, and has no support for an IR remote, so you can't use most universal remotes to control disk play on a PS3.

1.1 is not compatable with other specs like 2.0 and other future updated discs and is not always backwards compatable.why would you want the trouble with a blu ray spec that does not know what it is yet.thats why i prefere hd dvd over my blu ray player as atleast hd dvd is a finished product

Awesome blu-ray player, I think this is best one on the market so far. The PS3 is the cheapest though.
