Wayne Morse from War Made Easy

http://www.WarMadeEasyTheMovie... Made Easy reaches into the Orwellian memory hole to expose a 50-year pattern of government deception and media spin that has dragged the United States into one war after another from Vietnam to Iraq. Narrated by actor and activist Sean Penn, the film exhumes remarkable archival footage of official distortion and exaggeration from LBJ to George W. Bush, revealing in stunning detail how the American news media have uncritically disseminated the pro-war line of one administration after another.War Made Easy gives special attention to parallels between the Vietnam war and the war in Iraq. Driven by media critic Norman Solomon's meticulous research and tough-minded analysis, it sets stunning examples of propaganda and media complicity from the present within the context of rare footage from political leaders and leading journalists of the Vietnam era, including Presidents Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon, Defense Secretary Robert McNamara, dissident Senator Wayne Morse, and news correspondents Walter Cronkite and Morley Safer. Norman Solomon's work has been praised by the Los Angeles Times as "brutally persuasive" and essential "for those who would like greater context with their bitter morning coffee." This film now offers a chance to see that context on the screen.

Only as you drift into R.E.M. sleep. The decision has been made: Rockefeller's C.F.R. member #1, or Rockefeller's C.F.R. member #2.

This is great to find this video of Senator Morse, my grandfather and him were best friends, I still have the photos of him and I from when I was 3 years old. I also remember going to the picnics at his ranch in Eugene,Or.

I love the way he shoves the neocon notions of the imperial presidency right back down the throats of those "press" people who were trying to marginalize him. He was no afraid of a good fight. We are poorer without him.

Call Pelosi and Conyers daily, DEMAND impeachment!Your reps: congressDOTgov senateDOTgov Check out the vid on here called "the prosecution of George W Bush for murder" Get Bugliosi's book and let's get the info out to all 50 attorneys general and all district attorneys! Contact media: fairDOTorg BTW it's not too late to impeach, that's absurd, it would take ONE DAY with the evidence we have on videotape, remember, impeachment is the investigation NOT the conviction.
