What kind of pathetic demonstration is this? 20 feet and 5 mph? If all it can do is hover than it is nothing more than a novelty.

it's €20k or $30k

Most likely cause of engine stoppage = fuel problem. Fuel problem = ALL engines stopped at once (it has four, can fly on three and can land on two). All engines stopped = 9.81ms^2 downwards, no autorotation, no parachute, no chance. It's cute, but it's a deathtrap.

bricology, it would be rediculous to get a helicopter licens for this one cause it flies way different than an average chopper. It is very easy to fly. Maybe a special license could be thought up for it so people don't go fly it without knowing exactly how to.

The FAA isn't gonna make this easy to fly, I've no doubt. If they require a heli license (and I don't know why they wouldn't), that means that getting certified is going to cost quite a few thousand dollars and many months of lessons and classroom work. That's UNLESS the manufacturer can get get it to fit regs for the "ultralight" class. Even if they do, that will limit where and when it can be used (daylight only, nowhere near cities or flight-paths, etc.) Wish it were otherwise...

How in the hell can this thing cost $6 million? It looks like it takes less parts than a motorcycle. I would guess it's less than $50K at most. It looks very easy to fly as well...not as complicated as a helicopter. Where can I test fly one?

i read its 29,000 USD now. and it takes little over 15 liters per 100km. about same as a medium to big car. can reach 1000meters altitude and 90km topspeed. its somebody's life's work and its not just a toy. im gona get one someday and take to the skies.its the worlds easiest thing to fly too. get 1 urself
