??? Metallugry and luxury goods were definately imported by the Byzantines from the Middle East and India, but the economy and philosophy is unique! The Byzantines had on of the largest trade routes on Earth, and Indian philosophy was actually influenced by the Greeks from when Alexander the Great conquered the region!

oh the Irony... Constantinople was the gem and vanguard of the west, but only because it benefitted so much from cultural exchange, I mean in retrospect their metalurgy, economic process, luxury goods and even philosophy was "adapted" from Chinese, Arab and Indian cultures...

well his army was made up of lords and was mainly light cavalry not really the army of empires more of raiding
luciferck (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
actually I must say no to your comment, friend, while that time turkish people was looking for a new land to live to stay rather than raiding and going. thats why some turks went east some north some west etc..disintegration wouldnot occur also unless they would be beaten heavily..
Quentin0000000000 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
well thats why Romulus should have withdrawn to the Bosporus when the turks were finished raiding they would have left and the shas army would have desintigrated
