i don't think that girl was laughing at her either, she seemed to be smiling because she was happy to be there and hear loretta. i'm sure her mother was a big fan and told her stories of her own childhood and hearing loretta sing this song live probably gives this girl fond memories of her mother...like it does for me. i really enjoy this song and i love loretta.

Just my honest opinion, I don't think the girl was "Laughing AT Loretta" I think she was just busting with pure happiness to be there hearing such a legendary performer singing such a legendary song. I know when I saw Loretta Lynn in concert I laughed and smiled all the way through it.I love that lady!

This was not only a country classic, but it was also a true auto-biographical account of Loretta Lynn's early years. Every time you hear her sing it she's telling you her life story. She had many hits, but this one is special. I guess that's why they made a movie out of it.
