The shorter rods are better. That Cape Fear 7ft rod was one of the strongest blanks I had ever used so it did very well for us.Regards,Capt Ben

Goliaths are a protected and illegal to land in US since 1990. Takes a long time to reach that size, young are females and turn males at that size. How can it be fun to kill such a beautiful rare fish.
