cons to tankless water heaters is price to switching over runs about 2000$ but note your now saving 50-60% in cost now due to the fact tankless heaters supply on demand only

you should of all done your reasearch before buying a tankless water heater the CLIII venting runs about 300 dollars nobody said it would be cheap switching over from tank heater but that sounds almost impossible the moment you open your faucet the senors in it detects flow of water (takes about a minute to heat the water up)

I agree, the customer service is a JOKE and they will not stand behind what they sell! My unit failed local inspection and they won't correct it. Gee, they want me to spend another 300 to fix the mistake they created. Don't walk away from Rheem RUN!! Buy a unit that the manufacturere stands behind and one that you can vent with pvc. Anyone want to buy a 1,200 piece of metal hanging on my wall? Let's not mention the exterior wall patching I must pay for too boot!

Absolute JUNK! You need to open full blast your faucet to even start the unit! And to add insult to injury $2000+ for installation?
