I have no interest in learning how to play drums myself but Danny's playing has definitely caused me to notice them more in songs and I judge the percussion in other bands by his drumming with Tool. It's awesome to see what he actually looks like when he plays, and I admire the control you have to have over your body to be a good drummer.I think the drumming on the Lateralus album is some of the best he's done.
