these table tops look very appealing. I love that they spin. I ordered two cortex 5000, but they dont spin like these. I liked your tutorial. It was straight and to the point.

The new firmware should sort this out. What did you buy after that?

Pioneer are made in malaysia. NOT by Pioneer but a cheap electronics company! Pioneer is not the same as they use to be the first units were good (Japanese) but then Pioneer decided they JUST wanted profit. They are made cheap and the name (Pioneer) gets them sales. The other facts are 100% correct. A lot of guys that work with PROdj have laid these facts out in certain pioneer video's. In particular the CDJ400 unit. I ordered denons and I will stick with them!

Pioneer is made in MALAYSIA, by a cheap company Pioneer brought out simply for profit! The CDJ800mk2 have a ejecting problem (Error 1901) & the new CDJ400 freeze up & they will have similar problem also (search pioneer problems in youtube). I ordered a pair of these and by the looks of it they just need better software. I look forward to receiving these denons next week!

mate, the video and audio is slightly out on this video, just like most youtubes, these arent as good as 1000's but then again they are cheaper and better than most.

actually it is the other way, I own 2 CDJ 1000 and 2 DN 5000 and The Denon Ones are made in China and the Pioneers are made in Japan, and I can tell you that in the paper the Denons win over the pioneers (more functions, better price) but when you use them both the Denons fail in the most important part, reliability.

i just got a set of denon 3500, and sent them back cos they were poo, reasons! cue points jump when you try to cue up sound goes of when you spin back to fast the pitch is like a old set of sound lab dpl1 decs, they just wont hold steady. for ever going back and forth, and b 4 you ask i have been mixing for 18 years,so i know what i am talking about.,when you use the platter for the sample there is a delay, and is no where near the point you are cueing, just take a close look at the vid
