Extreme video of the 15 foot storm surge from Hurricane Ike on Galveston Island, TX. Ike made landfall as a strong category 2/weak category 3 hurricane at 2:20 am CDT at Galveston Island. The TornadoVideos.net storm chasers documented the entire hurricane from the sea wall on the east side of Galveston Island. This is part 2 of a 3 part video series.

Well, I flew over Bolivar peninsula at the worst areas doing pipeline patrols in the days after Ike. Believe me, there's nothing there you want to see. There's alot more going on down there than anyone knows about as far as deaths, I know that for a fact.

The adrenaline rush must be insane during a storm like that! I live in Scotland so I have no idea how powerful they are apart from these videos.

They were behind a 18 foot wall and at the highest parts of the island. I want to see some video of the east and west ends of the island or of boliver. But so far no one made video of those areas and kept their camera and their life.

Instead of advertising their web site, maybe they should have something on there saying "don't try this at home?" People were being swept out to sea during this giggle fest. over 300 still missing. Hey, if you want to chase storm,s that's fine, but try not to act like is so damned funny.
