The Great White version is definitely great. I was just listening to it the other day. Great White were always a great band, but I think in this case, credit really goes to old Mott. There's just a timelessness to their songs. Anyone catch "All the Way From Memphis" being used throughout last week's "Life on Mars"?

I loved this song in 1975 when I was 18 and still love it!The R&R riffs are great, but ot has to have the best R&R lyrics of all time.Great White's version is good but not a patch on the original.Ian and Mike roolz!Slainthe!

This song rocks!Ian Hunter is both an incredible songwriter and fantastic performer. I've seen him live half a dozen times over the years and it's always a great show.I think the Great White version is great too, but this is the original!

my personal opionon is that great white's version is betterdid you know that nobody heared of great white before they did a cover of this song. Great whites cover of this was acually nominated for a grammy. why waseny ian's versions so popular. I personaly havent heared of Ian Hunter before I heared great whites version of "Once bitten twice shy"
