I saw Mark yesterday in a little village near Groningen (Holland) and I have listened almost breathless to his wonderful voice, that speaks right to your soul, and his beautiful songs. Mark thank you!

Thanks for such a powerful post, atlantaprice5576. He does have one of "those" voices. Doesn't need to be judged, nor compared to some idiot ideal of perfection, it just says it and you feel it.

Mark has a great voice...it sounds a lot like Gram Parsons.

Though not the best singer in the world, Mark Olson has a voice that cuts through to a persons soul. Like Neil Young before him, Mark makes music that is as natural as a mountain stream or summer sunshine. I've never met him, yet through his music I feel like I've always known him.
