I think Piscopo came along 10-15 years too soon. Back then it was having a hit movie career or scripted show or bust. Being in Eddie Murphy's shadow hurt too.Now you see a lot of comedians with varying skit/variety shows. If hed come along hed probably have his own show on Comedy Central or TBS.
