Campus Forum: Budget SummitStudents, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend to hear the facts about the 2008-09 budget, the Governor's proposed budget for the CSU, and how they can advocate for fair and necessary funding for the more than 450,000 students of the CSU and 46,000 faculty and staff.The Budget Summit is sponsored by members of the Alliance for the CSU including the Sonoma State University Academic Senate, Associated Students, Alumni Association, California Faculty Association, and all staff unions

It's clear. If we stop investing in education, our future economy / standard of living is in jeopardy. With no manufacturing to create wealth, our standard of living is based on service professional jobs. College grad's are typically lower cost highers with a lot of enthusiasm. Our business's will be robbed of this resource so that to grow/backfill they need to make a different hiring decision.
