umm if it was the "better" car...it would have gotten better scores...but then again BMW is ovverrated so you would say it the better car because imo the IS looks better, has better luxury, will last longer and give you less problems and also have a higher resale vaule when it is time to sell. I would choose the IS but you like the 3 series so we can both be happy.

I used to own a 325i and i got in a wreck where an 18 wheeler hit me on the side going 65 mph and me and my three kids were perfectly safe w/o a scratch, thats why all i drive is bmw, its safe and reliable.
