I like that response - good job. The bans stink because the Rabbis we look up to are undermining their own authority when people start to take all their views with a grain of salt.

Well, us "frummies" like the combination of the brass, mixed with strings, pianos, & electric guitars. Just like country music is steel guitars, banjos, mandolins, & fiddle's. That is what jewish music is, & hundreds of thousands of people listen to it, & love it. And if it really is so horrible, you can exercise your right, not to listen to it. As for the banns, that is a schtickel problem, but one no one really adheres to anyway, plus it keeps the bored Rabbi's busy. Peace.

Ya know, I added this video a year ago, cause I loved it, and my 7yr old now sings it, word for word, does his own dance....I wish we lived somewhere he could share with other jewish kids.....for now I'll keep...home entertaining.....and enjoying how much he loves it. Oh he has frum in his name! now hes righteous. If you didn't realize jewish music is comprised of songs to G-d. Theirs nothing more uplifting and more holy than listening to verses from our holy scriptures being sung like this.
