There have been alot of people that have come from boxing and boxing like styles that have really succeeded in mma. If he came out into mma relying only on boxing he'd get whooped. But with some training in mat wrestling, ground fighting and submissions he could be a great mma fighter.

All those saying Mayweather wouldn't stand a chance in the UFC need to watch the Liddell/Silva fight. Awful, awful boxing for the duration, and if that were Mayweather in Silva's place, Liddell would've been dropped early in the first round.There's just no excusing that man's fighting style.

its not what has been said its how your misinterpretting it. schultz wanted to stand up with floyd to show mma fighters can fight stand up and they are nowhere near as bad as floyd thinks they are. he never said i`ll kick his ass in boxing.
