The way our government acts is outrageuos. It doesn't even ask the people before doing something. I know it is a republic, and we have elected officials for that. But things like war, taxes, drafts, etc..., need to be voted upon by the public (not specicifically the public, but the officials, like mayors, and Govenors.)
