Stinkin' AWESOME. If it hadn't been for the Long Ryders' cover of the GP cover if this song, I'd have never been intro'd to real country music. When I was 16, all the old-school country stars were making the most shit-awful music of their careers (think Kenny & Dolly singing Islands in the Stream). This stuff was utterly unknown to my generation, much to it's detriment. Long live Waylon.

Current country music right now to me seems similiar to what hair metal and corporate rock did to rock music in the 80's. Along came nirvana and the return of decent song writing. It's up to the fans though to embrace good music like this and to reject the over-produced crap.

God bless whoever put this on it is so good to see. I wish I lived in that time and that voice is so good and what a performer he just draws you in so genuine.He along with Kristofferson made country cool.Lots of people to day dont know what they are missing out on to ignorant and into over produced rubbish that goes out of style in weeks. This stuff has lasted the test of time. RIP Waylon
