sorry... my bad, Hu Yao Zhen was friend of Chen Fa KeFZQ studied internal qigong and Six Harmony XinYi Quan from HYZHYZ was famous for his practice and combination of taoism, martial arts and traditional chinese medicine

Thanks! I think I'm misunderstanding one part though... "Chen Fa Ke who was a friend of Chen Fa Ke" Two of them? So the Hun Yuan forms were invented by FZQ based on a combination of Chen Taiji, and Hu Yao Zhen's qiogong? HYZ was only a qigong master, or did he also practice TJQ or some other martial style?

Hunyuan qigong comes from Hu Yao Zhen, also nicknamed "One Finger Conquers the World" who was the first teacher of Feng Zhi Qiang. Feng Zhi Qiang learned Chen Taijiquan from Chen Fa Ke who was a friend of Chen Fa Ke. Later Feng combined the two styles and resulted Hun Yuan Chen Shi Taijquan which use a lot of Chan Si Gong (silk reeling) and Hun Yuan Qigong in his forms

Where does the Hun Yuan form come from? I just started studying under one of Feng Zhiqiang's students and that is the first thing he's teacing me.
