Any fan would have seen that on the TV, but the americans were at the theater, they kind of deserve that for paying the tickets to watch a comedy show. Besides, they're are so insignificant changes. I would get pissed off if they started saying "fucking" instead of "bloody". That would be americanising the language

See, isn't that better? Much more civilised. Well done you. I didn't make a big deal about it. I left a comment, someone responded, I replied, and so on.. It was a one-off gig for fans using old material, which any fan would have seen in the tv prog, so why make changes?

Well I AM an arrogant prick. It takes one to recgnize one, you see.I just don't see the big deal about they changing the references to make it funnier to americans. They're not 'americanising' the language, as you said. They're just trying to get to the not yet fans of Monty Python. Americans don't want to laugh about British lifestyle...
