Jews originate from the middle-east not europe. In any case, "white" is not a race, it is a subgroup of caucasoid. I cringe every time I hear "white nationalists" use the term. I wonder how many of them have had their DNA sequenced. Wouldn't it be funny to witness a white supremisist find out his lineage is Jewish lol how would they react?

Edward Rutledge was the head of the pro-slavery lobby at the time. It's ironic cause he ended up freeing all his slaves before he died. Most of them were Loyalists anyway.

Yes, there was no actual Article, or Amendment specifically drawn up to protect slavery, and its expansion. When that did come about it was done by the pro-slavery North, the Republican party *supposed abolitionists* and newly inaugurated President Abraham Lincoln pledged his personal support for it as well. Yes, read about Jeff Davis's tax plan, the Confederate governments inability to tax those with slaves was a complete drag on their new economy which was disadvantaged from the start.

He said shortly after his inauguration while in Montgomery, AL that slavery was going to be a "defunct" institution "surely by centuries end" It was costing everyone money. The non-slave owners (the majority) were losing out on work thus money to spend in out there in the economy. The rich were not paying enough in taxes to recuperate the loss. He tax system was designed to tax "productivity" If I own 50 slaves thats 100 extra hands. I would be "productive" It would make slavery not pay but cost

It is amazing how they got this white guy to read from their script. This is just too irresistable to African Americans, but I don't think he quite has his finger on the pulse of the truth. Easy to demonize the "elite" when most aren't rich. But he's telling the story out of the context of Human History and it still makes "white people" look like the "bad" guys. Has he looked in the mirror lately? Maybe, if they called this something other than "white" privilege" he'd be on to something.

Jefferson abhorred slavery and wanted it outlawed in the Declaration. They didn't and Slavery didn't become a topic again until Northern Industrialization had business owners upset at unfair advantages down South due to Slave labor. They didn't do anything about Slavery until it was convienent to them. Proof is in their apathy toward Segreagation after the war.

What you spoke about earlier was the Corwin Amendment. Showed how much Lincoln cared about Blacks.
