Ahhhh yes those were the daze :) i used to hang there when it was Kalisto. Been there a couple of times in the last year. I think its great that the orthodox community is still gettin together. For all the negetive comments about greek vs. serb vs. macedonia.etc. GET OVER IT! This is not a political forum. As you have realized, I can be quite the smart ass:Greek Macedonian = Greek ethnicity, Macedonian regionally (Pontic Greek, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Turk, and Hellenic origin).ethnic Macedonian = Macedonian ethnicity, various definitions regionally (Slavic origin). Please view genetic studies which shows our blood is also comprised of the ancient inhabitants meaning our ancestors (whether Slav or ancient inhabitant) assimilated with the other (whether Slav or ancient inhabitant)

There IS a brotherhood. However, there is also some discontent over the fact that Greeks no longer seem to have a Greek town. I also enjoy seeing the Slavic peoples and Greeks interact, it keeps us unified against the Turks. However, we must be careful as to NOT rewrite history. The slavic peoples came to the Balkans around 600 A.D. Before then that area, including Macedonia was Greek inhabited.

Those who self identify as "Greek Macedonian" who identify regionally as Macedonian but ethnically as Greek are Greek.There is also an ethnic Macedonian group, which is a branch of the Slavic origin.
