It's over, it's... all over. Alberto Gonzales resigned as Attorney General yesterday. As Americans we cheer, but as muckrakers we shed a tear for the man who over the past 6 months taught us new things about how mendacious, incompetent, and ridiculous an attorney general could be. So this is number 459 on the list of 1000 blunders by the Bush Administration, but damn you Clinton for that blowjob. Damn you!!!!!!!! By the way, the people who voted twice for Bush are guilty of inappropiate sexual behavior as well, you guys gave Bush a Monica lewinsky, shame shame.

it amazes me that apparently a 'if you resign we won't send your lying ass to jail' deal was made. he not perjured himself but insulted everyone's intelligence at the same time. not a fucking thing happened to him. what do you bet he still gets a govt.pension of some sort...fucking amazing!

In the hearings Attorney General Alberto Gonzales made a statement which was "... fire a shot across the bow" referencing the bow of a ship but pronouncing it as a hunting bow with an arrow.Did anyone see that?

I watched the whole mess and this isn't out of contextGonzales never answered a single question during thewhole process. The founding fathers would have takena break and hung him from the nearest tree. I neverthought I'd see the day we had a worse AG than J Reno.

when you cover up for the president or vice president there are no straight answers. this guy is smart and articulate, he knows what he's doing...he's the fall guy. his resignation is not satisfying...

I dont think The Daily Show could have edited clips or wrote a skit more hilarious than what actually happened. It is sad day when the nations top lawyer can lie to the whole country, then CHOOSE to leave months later.
