its cuz of the way the movie was made , not every1 can appreciate how this movie was ,most people just want to see blood ,gore , shooting u know just blow stuff up lol i liked it but the ending had me wantin more :o...

lol the human race didnt die lol at the beggin u wud have seen that the sd card with all the footage was found by sum1 and the monster only attacked manhattan, the girl got bitten thats why she ..u know and i didnt like the ending cuz like only 1 person survived from the group, the one who left in the helicopter ,if theres a part 2 i think it will be like starship troopers in a way, a whole set of bugs landing in different places around the world.

Greatest trailer of all time, greatest marketing campaign of all time, great movie that managed to live up to the mindblowing amount of hype.Most fun I've ever had waiting for a movie to come out.

The mystery behind the monster makes it better.The parasites cause you to "pop" when they bite you. That's what happened to the girl with the short hair, she was infected.

I just watched this last night and i thought it was a pretty good movie but i was very dissapointed at the ending, i wish they would have had some more detail if the monster died, did the human race die? i just didnt understand. And why did they kill the girl with short hair? was she infected with something or what? sorry for all the questions.

IMO this is one of the best monster movies to come out, and I'm usually skeptical when I see a trailer for 'another' monster movie. Cloverfield is innovative, suspenseful and is a fresh cinematic experience compared to other, cliched 'apocalypse' movies. Go and see it!
