then how come there were more seasons after marissa left? She was so liked that they would have kept her in at all costs. Only explanation is that she wanted to leave, she even said it in an interview. Face facts marissa thought she was too famous for oc and thats why she ditched it. Good ridens i say

Cause the actress that played marissa said in an interview she was too good for OC and she wanted to quit. So the writers had to kill her off and cause she was a main character it had to be drtamatic as you can all see. Shame really

Whao. Okay, well I'm officially shocked. I mean, yeah marissa has already attempted to kill herself but wow...so sad and quite depressing I might add. I actually have season 1 & 2 on Dvd but I had no idea it went all the way up to season 4!!!! I flipped out when I sae Cohen (I LOVE ADAM!!!) and summer get married. I love Seth.

i'm not so sad, marissa was in the 3rd season sooooo annoying! I really liked her in trhe 1st and 2nd season, but then it was always the same with her!
