Nah, Morrissey's no racist, I can assure you! Bascially, it happened like this. He gave an interview to some rag saying that there was no reason why the BNP shouldn't have the right of assembly. Most media picked this story up and went to town on him, exactly as planned, because it was a very naive attempt to try to shake off his nuttier fans. He failed.
