I've listened and read quite a few cases put forward from sellers, it does indeed sound like these changes are killing selling on ebay, however, as per my previous comment the system does indeed need an overhaul, the vast majority of buyers (myself included) did not leave negative feedback even when deserved for fear of retaliatory negative feedback.

I think the feedback system was poor, I'm not saying the changes they made were ideal, but many sellers were taking advantage of buyers too easily. I myself bought something advertised as "new", when it arrived it was obviously second hand (filthy and badly scratched) when I left negative feedback the seller then left me negative feedback, I fulfilled all of my buyer responsibilites and yet I got a negative feedback rating?The end result was that I never left negative feedback ever again.

THIS COMMENT WOULD DEFINITELY BE PULLED OFF ESUX... IMHO: IF ebay ever padded or falsified any listing with fake bids, that would invalidate all auctions as to being a binnding contract! How would any seller know if a bid was legit or some ebay fraud bid? This breech would emcompass all auctions for bad credibility on ebay's part, and all sellers could suspect fake FB, bids, etc. and thus not be held liable to the TOS. Think about it! Something they would not want known.

why not put a daily bidding limit on people with low feedback. like if ou have 0-5 you can only bid on say 1 item every day or so, and until you reach 10, you will get immediately suspended if you do not pay for an item. ebay claims it's against policy, so why are they so reluctant to dish out consequences. gah! also they shoud make it harder to re-register. i have 3 accounts, one has a false address and 2 have the same phone number and cardholder name. imagine if i was a scammer...

I so hate ebay. I use to love it back in 2002 when I started, and now I hate it because they had suspended me for life. I hate ebay because they never reinstate you.. bewarned too if sellers give you item strikes. I had way to many when I canceled a lot of ebay items last year in 2007. F**K ebay for suspension me. EBAY IS NOT A CANCELIZATION SITE... not like Walmart, Toys R Us, Collector's Cache, ToyWiz, Target, etc... BEWARE. you never get reinstated... ebay does not reply.

haha yeah have you checked whos selling on Ebay now? I have and its mostly made in China junk sellers who couldn't care less about ratings or service. if thats what Ebay wants to be a MEGA ONLINE DOLLAR STORE, then thats what they shall have.I'm in the process of looking for other sites, and will stop using Paypal and use Google Wallet instead.
