I am biased against Hamilton, and yes I fear the Hamilton/Macca combination. But Senna would pwn all of the current guys in terms of pure skill, and Ascari, Fangio and Clark even more so because to drive those cars fast and in anger, i9n the age of death in motorsport was absolutely amazing. To counter your argument, Hamilton's fans would love to consider him the best ever. That's why they harp on about him. Plus jingoism is a major factor.

Kubica is certainly an amazing qualifier, but his race pace needs alot of work.

But how many people are saying that? People who are biased against Hamilton obviously fear his talent, and the reason people mention that they don't think he's as good as Senna and other F1 greats is because he constantly proves that he has the potential to be just as good as them.

the reason why lewis hamilton has been baacked by a competitive team for so long is because he showed so much promise at a young age and mclaren didn't wnat to let him go anywhere else. it's not just luck that lewis is where he is.

i dont think he is either but he is still bloody good lol. both hamilton and kubica are great drivers and will certainly rise to great heights. dont forget senna wasn't in f1 until he was 24, both lewis and robert are just 23, so they shouldn't be compared to senna just yet, he was still in british f3 at that age

Yeah, I suppose. I am slightly biased against Hamilton, I admit. I know he's got talent, but I don't think he's quite as good as everyone is saying. I.e., as good as Senna.

yes we do agree on that point lol.for sure hamilton recieved a lot of help in terms of backing, but he wouldnt have had that if he didnt have the talent. there is no harm in having such programs though, toyota have one, as do renault. alonso had backing from briatore, they paid for his rides at minardi. mclaren backed heidfeld in f3000 and got his f1 drive with prost in 2000, even if they did stab him in that back in terms of a 2002 ride. vettel has been backed by red bull for years
