Personlly growing food for fuel is absurd when you have starving people. I have cost effective efficient solar cells using recycled car engines. sterling engines and fresnel lenses. photovoltatics should lean towards pyroelectrics and using heat to generate e via thermoelectric modules and sterling engine gas expansion
